Aproximação teórica à definição do conceito de local atrativo de avifauna fora do aeroporto

Resumo

A maioria dos impactos entre as aeronaves e a vida selvagem ocorre dentro dos aeroportos; entretanto, quase metade dos impactos com danos ocorre fora dos aeroportos. Portanto, os programas de risco aviário devem considerar seriamente as áreas fora do aeroporto a fim de alcançar uma gestão abrangente do risco de impacto. Entretanto, estes programas têm várias limitações para sua implementação fora do aeroporto, incluindo a falta de uma definição precisa da noção de habitat atrativo para a vida selvagem fora do aeroporto, o que reduz o conceito a um nível intuitivo que dificulta a otimização do sistema de análise de risco. Esta última impede a identificação clara das áreas a serem avaliadas e posteriormente gerenciadas com a modificação do habitat. Para resolver este problema, é proposto o conceito de um local atraente para avifauna (las), definido como o local na área de influência do aeroporto que tem uma ocorrência confirmada e regular de pelo menos cinqüenta aves voadoras e arriscadas. Tal proposta pode representar um avanço importante para a segurança da aviação a partir de uma gestão eficiente do risco de impacto da vida selvagem fora do aeroporto.
