Abstract

This article discusses the selection and analysis of materials for the manufacturing processes of the main structure for a rotary wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The selection of materials was carried out through the use of several of the typical selection methodologies presented in the literature, such as the morphological matrix. Restrictions associated with aeronautical use and local availability of materials were taken into consideration.
