Abstract

This article details the systematic and organized search through the consultation of important bibliographic databases, such as Web of Science, Scopus, Google Academic and Science Direct, and the reading of selected texts, in order to identify the technologies used for the process of storage and transport of missiles for military use, as well as the main suppliers or manufacturers of this type of equipment. A compilation of patents and images of such systems is cited, describing technical specifications such as: weight, load capacity, specific functions, type of mechanism and type of armament for which it was designed, etc. The article also illustrates the capabilities of the local industry to design technology that meets the needs with high quality standards, based on a series of equipment and technologies that offer the main manufacturers of storage systems, types of equipment used, as well as all the information that served as a basis for developing a functional prototype of storage and transport Shelter type that fits the specific needs of the Colombian Aerospace Force, specifically for the fleet of AH60L (Black Hawk).
