Advances in military technology are growing by leaps and bounds both in the development of weapons, radars, military aircraft and drones, as well as in the field of military medicine, which focuses on mitigating the casualty rate in the evacuation of combat wounded. The care of these combatants requires five strategies of timely intervention by the Colombian Air Force health personnel, proposed in this article through the collection of information with a high level of scientific evidence to ensure the physiological conditions in flight, thus highlighting the pre-hospital medical care as an important pillar in patient care. This article highlights the importance of the synergy between military aviation and medical sciences to guarantee the survival rate of victims of the armed conflict who are members of the Colombian Armed Forces, through the doctrinal guidelines of tactical medicine used in the tactical evacuation phase. Therefore, applying the strategies presented in this article and strengthening the conditions of advanced care in the prehospital phase will improve the life expectancy of the wounded in combat and guarantee the fulfillment of the mission's objective.
