Abstract

This investigation intends to contribute to the construction of an institutional culture in operational security that permits to be aware of the risks generated in the maintenance of aircrafts in the Colombian Air Force and its consequences reflected in incidents and aviation accidents, which represent high economic and irreparable costs human losses.

 

In the same way it seeks to propose the implementation of effective actions that mitigate its negative influence, by means of processes optimization in organizational management employed in the aeronautical maintenance, expecting that being constituted in a valuable contribution to be able to know the current condition of the airworthiness and its effects in the operational security inside the Colombian Air Force.
