The purpose of this article is to carry out an introduction of libraries, its evolution and consolidation as an information system for storing and spreading global knowledge as well as the constant affinity with technology and the development of modern administrative practices for its constant evolution.
It proposed a application model within the Colombian Air Force’s Library environment and ends with introduction of the informational literacy concepts.
