Abstract

The development ofthe study of operati ng and maintenance costs of the vehicle fieet of Air Force Command COFAC use a reliable costing process that serves as a support mechanism in making decisions on planning, operation and maintenance of vehicles.

The enviranment in wh¡eh they operate the veh¡cles involed to take such activities to support transportation operations for establishing a better operating performance structure, time and implementation of those moments of inspection work maintenance and repairs, lining into an effective distribution budget to cover operating costs and maintenance.

In the development of the work is considered a costing model that
generates results based on an economie analysis-oriented decision-making
on the management of budgetary resources. In this way
the study becomes a useful tool to support the solution of logistical
problems, anticipating difficulties and rising levels of management.
